Elegant tea

A group of friends and I really enjoy an elegant tea every now and then, which we usually do once a year in December. On sunday, we had an outing to our first out-of-the-house tea, at Antiquiteas, a lovely little place in southern New Hampshire. Afterwards, we spent an hour browsing a large bookstore before heading home, and I was eager to get home because I was missing the household's father's day barbeque! (Now that I'm living with a father I will know not to schedule a conflict that day.) ( Here are a few pics from the tea place. )

Reason #435 why I hate cars

There's a dead woodchuck in the middle of the road near our house, run over by a car. On her way home lady_babalon saw another car run over the already dead animal.

lady_babalon says it was a girl woodchuck. She's just gone outside, armed with plastic bags, to move the poor critter's body off the road.
