Lunar eclipse

Oh wow, the moon looks absolutely gorgeous - we lucked out with such a clear night. I know one of those twinkles of light near the moon is actually Saturn, not sure which one. (The brightest, perhaps?) I've been outside twice, looking at it until I'm freezing cold (which doesn't take long since it's quite cold out there.) I can see the moon through my living room window but you just don't get the color and the full effect from indoors.

I haven't seen a lunar eclipse since that magical night when the Red Sox won the World Series and the moon turned red.

Lucky you. I just checked, the replaced highway lights are bright enough to mask the sky :-(

Yes, we're getting a bit of snow today! I'm not feeling too bothered by it though: I got out of work an hour early, haven't had to drive in it, and I'm home making soup. :-)
