Snow, but no "snow day" for me

Yes, I made it into work this morning. My work doesn't close because of snowstorms. My entire window ledge has been covered with pigeons this morning. Right now there are 8 of them. Usually they fly away when I arrive and turn on the office light. Today they're not bothering to move. I don't blame them, given a choice I wouldn't move either! and I'm enjoying them being out there. Here's just a few (they won't all fit in the picture.)

Yes, they do look cold. Most of them are sitting with their heads sort or tucked in, and I can see bits of ice and snow on their feathers. (There are 7 on the window sill right now.)

Are you sure they are really birds? LOL think that bats are closer to birds that pigeons are. I am not a fan of pigeons. Perhaps the pigeons there are not so nasty as the ones here.

What place closes because of snow? Chicago never stops. LOL OK it does but we never really get that kind of snow in which it could stop. I read the 2 feet of snow. We do not get that much snow.
